Thanks!

I have no idea what that flower is either... I wouldn't be surprised if it's not native, although I suspect they'd get pulled out these days if it wasn't. Your photo looks to be of the same flower, so maybe some seeds fell out of the interwebs on the way over here. ;^) They sure looked nice, whatever they are.

Lots of great photos, as usual! Fantastic to see Allison's enthusiasm for the trip. :-) I feel so old - just from seeing her in photos she's looking so much more grown up - and like Carrie! The GGB photos in fog are awesome, you look great in the starlet's sunnies, peering out of the tent is great. I think a plant escaped my photographs and has gone wild in CA! No idea what it is. http://www.flickr.com/photos/cragg-ohlsson/4299276847/in/set-72157623272275348/

Glad you found the info helpful, Andy. And luckily there is no shortage of survival/outdoors books for your collection. :) Cheers!

Hey I found this intresting, I just watched the Film "The Edge" for the first time about an hour ago and was wondering about the book. I thought it would be a good addition to my other survival books however it seems as though that will never happen. I have to say I cannot believe have not seen that film before. That was the best movie I had seen in a long time. Thanks for the information about the book.
